Description
Changing movement isn’t about sets, reps or body parts. It’s about understanding why movement is broken in the first place as well as the stimulus that it needs to heal itself. Often, we make the paths to those changes more complex than they need to be, resulting in inefficient, ineffective programs that are nearly impossible to explain to clients.
In this lecture, Gray Cook will discuss the plasticity of the neurological system, its feedback and how we can use its desired sequence of actions to quickly change movement. This focus on awareness, breathing and control is a simple and predictable way to ensure that the brain and body are fully connected and stay connected.
You will leave this lecture with a better understanding about:
- The difference between a movement exercise and a movement experience
- The A,B,C's of movement
- Movement flows
Lecture length: 1 hour, 23 minutes
