Backward Shuffle with Jump Rope

This is a dynamic lower body movement with the jump rope resembling a single leg low kicking motion.

Body Parts Targeted:

Starting Position: Single Leg

Hold the handles of the rope in each hand. The head and neck remain neutral as the spine and torso are tall with the shoulders back. Use a light knee and ankle motion while jumping on the balls of the feet.  
 
For the backward shuffle, extend one foot back, bending the knee to a 90 degree angle and alternating the feet. This movement resembles a low kicking motion.
