Brian Stirling

Dr. Brian Stirling received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Washington and Lee University in Virginia and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC). He later underwent extensive training through USC's Orthopedic Residency program and became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Throughout his educational career, he participated in varsity swimming and afterwards coached swimming, CrossFit, and Olympic Weightlifting. He is currently a Physical Therapist for Agile Physical Therapy. He is working at a contracted Sutter Health / Palo Alto Medical Foundation location in San Carlos, CA. Brian is passionate about optimizing people's movement & functional ability to get them back to what they love. Combining his knowledge as a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with his Physical Therapy background, he is able to deliver creative and effective exercise programs for his patients and utilizes a variety of manual therapy techniques including joint mobilizations/manipulations, soft tissue mobilizations, instrumented-assisted soft tissue mobilizations (IASTM), myofascial decompression (cupping), and kinesiotaping/leukotaping.
