Ryan DeWitt

Ryan is a native of Santa Cruz and received his Masters in Physical Therapy in 2004, and Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2002, from CSU Sacramento. His clinical interests include sports medicine, spinal conditions and rehabilitation for return to sport. He has worked with many high school, college and professional athletes and has been published in the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT) and the Physical Therapy Journal (PTJ) with his graduate work. He has completed numerous courses in the management of orthopedic, sports medicine and spinal conditions, is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with additional certifications as an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Certified Professional and a CrossFit Level 1 Coach. He lives in Pleasure Point with his wife and children and can be found surfing in and around the East Side of Santa Cruz.
