This is a drill to reestablish the hip extension pattern transitioning from the suspended position to stacked position.
This is a drill to reestablish the hip extension pattern transitioning from the suspended position to the stacked position.
Set Up: Get into a quadruped position with the knees under the hips and the hands under the shoulders with the spine in a neutral position.
Action: Keeping the arms straight, transition the body from the quadruped position to the half-kneeling position by moving the torso to an upright position while simultaneously bringing the left knee forward. Make sure the body remains stable, especially the lumbar spine.
Return: Resume the quadruped position. Repeat the process using the right leg.
