FMS Unplugged: Cook - ing the Deadlift - Episode 2

Written by FMS Video

Gray Cook grabs Master RKC Brett Jones to discuss the technique behind a perfect deadlift. Gray asks Brett to talk us through how to avoid rounding the back, maintaining engaged shoulders, while also providing us with other cues to achieve correct form when deadlifting.

They encourage quality over quantity and stress that the client should always be “successful but challenged” when exercising. Brett then proceeds to show us more complicated deadlift patterning such as the Suitcase Deadlift and the Sumo Deadlift.

This is absolutely BRILLIANT, thank you so much!  And right on time, because I'd just been thinking that I want to deadlift more often.

That was great. Very easy to watch! I'll be making a few changes to the setup position I've been using. Thanks!

Wonderful video. A lot of people are afraid of the deadliest and don't realize the benefits to the muscles around your spine and the entire back of your flutes and legs.
